‘House Doctor’
Palladian have teamed up with professional Interior Designers –
David Hales B.I.D.A and his wife Di – to provide a bespoke
‘ready for sale’ makeover to a home. David or Di will visit the home
in order to meet the client and tour the property to ensure there is
a full understanding of the client’s wishes and discuss possible ideas.
Not only should the highest price possible be achieved for a property,
but it is also an opportunity for clients to gleam creative ideas for
the future.
Experience to date shows that a spend of around 1 to 2% of the house
value can add between 3 and 5% to its sale value. Clearly much depends
on whether the home has been redecorated recently, but sometimes focus
can be given to only one or two areas to really give the property the
‘WOW’ factor. At the very least such a service provides a real
differentiator against other houses on the market.
